Sydney Doyle, one of the referees for TCYSA, was awarded the NCYSA/NCSRA Female Young Referee of the Year Award at the NCYSA Annual Awards Luncheon on January 7, 2007. Sydney is shown above receiving her award from Rick Marion, Referee Assignor for TCYSA, and Paul James, State Youth Referee Administrator for the NC State Referee Association.

Sydney attends North Stokes High School and has been officiating adult and youth soccer matches for four years. "All of my achievements have been attainable through the support of my mom, Debbie Crawley, and my assigner, Rick Marion. I love the sport and am blessed to be a part of the game as both a player and a referee."
