Organization – Twins is highly organized at all levels from both an administrative and soccer perspective, which allows the efficient running of programs and a positive experience for the players and families.
Clear Soccer Pathway – Twins provides a clear path for player development from Recreation to Youth Academy to Challenge to Classic to NC Soccer Fusion, which allows all players to grow within the club and excel at the next level.
History of Success – Twins recent growth has coincided with success both on and off the field. Individually players have been recognized at a state, regional and national level and our teams have competed for and won State Cups, major tournaments and participated in Region 3 leagues.
Quality of Staff
Twins prides itself on providing excellent coaches with the ability to teach, motivate and create a positive learning environment. It also offers the opportunity for coaches to grow through professional development and improve the quality of their coaching through both licensing and evaluations.
Twins has Directors of Coaching with gender focus that are specialized in their areas to improve the players overall experience. We have highly licensed coaches within both the United States Soccer Federation and National Soccer Coaches Association of America, and recent coaches have won North Carolina Youth Soccer Association Classic, Challenge and Recreation Coach of the year awards.
Quality of Facilities
Twins is proud to own BB&T Soccer Park, which is one of the Premier Soccer Facilities in the Southeast with 14 full-sided and lighted fields, as well as Team Meeting Rooms and Video Facilities. The success and exposure of BB&T Soccer Park has attracted Major League Soccer and College Teams to play games there.
Twins also uses the Winston Salem Soccerplex, which has 3 indoor soccer fields and the opportunity to play small-sided games, in addition to a variety of other well maintained outdoor fields in the Winston area.
Quality of Relationships
Twins has created the Twins Way, which is built around creating a positive relationship between the 3 key supporters of the club: Players, parents and coaches.
Twins has also created a strong partnership with Greensboro United Soccer Association, which has formed the North Carolina Soccer Fusion to create a clear soccer pathway for Elite players in the Piedmont with both clubs supporting the same ideals, commitment and philosophy.
Twins also has strong links in the community, not only as a member of the Davie County and Winston Salem Chamber of Commerce, but through firm partnership with Visit Winston Salem. In addition, Twins works together with Wake Forest University Men and Women’s Soccer programs, creating a fantastic partnership in promoting and improving the game of soccer in the area.
